The Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals regulation (REACH) introduces an obligation to send a registration to the European Chemicals Agency
(ECHA)
for chemical substances on their own or in preparations which are manufactured in or imported into the European Union (EU) in quantities of 1 tonne or more per year.
The obligation also applies in certain cases also to substances in articles.
Failure to register will mean for a company that it is no longer allowed to manufacture the substance in or import it into the EU.
Only a natural or legal person established in the EU can be a registrant and we can fulfil that role as REACH only representative. As only representative we can help you with all aspects of pre-registration and registration by representation in the Substance Information Exchange Forum (SIEF), and the preparation of Chemical Safety Assessments (CSAs), Exposure Scenarios (ESs), Risk Management Measures (RMMs) and updated Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) leading to a full registration dossier. |
